Just a quick posting this time...  I spent a lot of last week and the weekend making the dishes featured in upcoming posts since I hadn’t photographed them the first time around.  This meant that I had a lot of odd shaped food in my refrigerator.  Good luck would have it that I had an unscheduled visit with the boys after the eldest finished school yesterday.  So we had a mixed up after school snack.  I made little meatball sandwiches for them (hot dog rolls) and served a lot of “side dishes”.  With each of these sides, the boys either identified the story they were from or they acted out a part of the story.  It was great!

 

They had a lot of fun with it, I cleaned my refrigerator out a bit and I got solid confirmation that they really do enjoy and learn from these dinners.

 

That said, I’ll get back to writing my posts for the next few stories and get them out here as soon as I can, maybe even later today.
